The Skeptical Motorcyclist Goes Coast2Coast
Between June 20th and July 21st 2008 I am motorcycling Coast2Coast and back from California to New York visiting Vegas, Moab, the Rockies, Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis, the Badlands, Canada, Punxsutawney, Indianapolis, Winterset, Silverton, Durango, Four Corners, and more.
My blogging energy is being channeled into documenting the trip. It's an 8000 mile journey and I encourage you to follow along!
I've already begun documenting my preparation, so click over and check it out.
Also, the electronic navigational equipment for my motorcycle is being generously sponsored by my good friends at Teradek. Teradek is a world class engineering and consulting firm. My marketing company, Off the Lip Marketing, designs all of Teradek's marketing material, including their web site. Please pay them a visit.
Oh and here's something to make you laugh while I'm out riding my bike!

Here Be Dragons - A Skeptical Introduction to Critical Thinking by Brian Dunning
I highly recommend to everyone that they watch this fascinating film. Brian Dunning hits the nail squarely on the head. This is a must see.

Brian Cox at the TED Talks
The scientific story of where we came from is sooooo much more compelling than the story told in the bible. That fact that there are people, today, in the year 2008, still clinging to the idea of young earth creationism by a divine creator is pathetic.
